Lil Wayne - "On Fire" (video)
Lil Wayne's official music video for the track "On Fire" off his latest album entitled Rebirth. The song isn't one of my favorites off the album, but this video is pretty legit and I can't forget to mention that the Victoria's Secret angel look-a-like is a sexy bitch...so that contributes to the video as well :) haha.

Obama pledges to support Haiti Earthquake Disaster Relief (video)
"This is a time when we are reminded of the common humanity we all share. With just a few hundred miles of ocean between us, and the long history that binds us together, Haitians are our neighbors in the Americas and here at home, so we have to be there for them in their hour of need. Despite the fact that we are experiencing tough times here at home, I would encourage those Americans who want to support the urging humanitarian efforts, to go to whitehouse.gov, where you can learn how to contribute." - President Obama
Theophilus London - "Humdrum Town" (video)
Theophilus' new music video for his song off The Charming Mixtape entitled "Humdrum Town." This dude is sick...no wonder NME Magazine declared him their #1 New Artist.

Joe Budden - "Touch and Go" (video)
I appreciate Joey's serious and raw tracks more than his club bangers, but I'll post his latest music video for "Touch and Go" off the Halfway House album.
Drake - "Successful" (unreleased verse)

Kid Cudi changes upcoming album title to "Cudder & The Revolution of Evolution"
The audience of a January 6th concert in Milwaukee were lucky enough to be the first to hear the anouncement of Kid Cudi's newly changed album title (originally entitled Cudder): Cudder & The Revolution of Evolutioin. Unfortunately for us loyal Cudi fans, there is still no scheduled date for the new album's release...cross your fingers that it leaks early like The Man on the Moon: The End of Day (which was voted #1 Best Album of 2009 by Complex.com and also enabled the Kid to receive three 2010 Grammy Nominations).

Wiz Khalifa - "This Plane" named "Best Indie Hip Hop Record of 2009" by DJBooth.net
Wiz Khalifa has become one of my top 5 favorite rappers over the past four to five months and although he's different from my number one favorite, Joe Budden, he certainly brings a less violent yet enjoyable and talented form of hip hop music that has enabled me and others to see another way in which hip hop/rap is changing for the better. Congratulations to Wiz Khalifa for his success in having his new single "This Plane" off the Deal or No Deal album named "Best Indie Hip Hop Record of 2009" by DJBooth.net...I hope to hear more good news about this dude in the near future..."Ookkaayy!" ;) T.G.O.D.

Cole

Peace out, 2009
Before I went out to celebrate the ending of 2009 and the beginning of 2010, I reflected upon what the year had broughten and realized that the only one thing that came out of 2009 that I'm truly happy for is the growth and recognition of true musical artists as well as all the amazing music that was created throughout the year, so I compiled a list (not in any particular order) of some of the albums, mixtapes, and EP's that I fell in love with durring the past year...
